There are <strong>3 main areas<\/strong>: the north (<strong>Northbridge<\/strong>), the middle (<strong>shopping street and CBD<\/strong>) and south (<strong>Kings Park<\/strong>). They even mill their own flour and eggs come free range chickens. Health and environmentally conscious. Food was not bad, but it was the novelty of the theme that was exciting. Service was good. We spent A$72 for four persons. Free guided tours at 10am, 12pm, and 2pm, taking 1-2.5 hours. I didn&#8217;t take the tour, but lazed under the shade, read a book, with the breeze, rustling leaves and distant echoes of waves splashing.<\/p>\n<p>More options: From Kings Park, you can either:<\/p>\n<p>(c) go further south to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.perthzoo.wa.gov.au\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Perth Zoo<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(free guided tours available; 20 Labouchere Rd, South Perth WA 6151; +61 8 9474 0444;\u00a0Bus 30 or 31 from Esplanade Bus port;\u00a0A$21 [adult], A$10.50 [child]; 9am-5pm daily)\u00a0and spend the rest of the day there, giving yourself another day to explore the rest of the city. Waited an hour for the food to arrive. The worst service I had in Perth but I suspect it&#8217;s because the Italian waitress didn&#8217;t have a good grasp of English, and not from malice. Noisy with reverberating acoustics. Food was so-so. We spent <strong>A$151 for three persons<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bestrestaurants.com.au\/perth\/award-winning-hatted-restaurants.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">For other award-winning best restaurants in Perth, look under Perth CBD<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>After lunch, walk 10 minutes north along William St to reach <strong>Northbridge<\/strong>. At Northbridge, the\u00a0<strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.perthculturalcentre.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Perth Cultural Centre<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>houses <a href=\"http:\/\/museum.wa.gov.au\/museums\/perth\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Western Australian Museum<\/strong><\/a> (9.30am-5pm daily, free admission), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.statetheatrecentrewa.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>State Theatre Centre of Western Australia<\/strong><\/a>, and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artgallery.wa.gov.au\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Art Gallery of Western Australi<\/strong>a<\/a> with focus on Aboriginal art, with hour-long tours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What to Eat at Northbridge<br \/>\n<\/strong><em>Northbridge is also the Chinatown area, so expect lots of Asian food.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>1. <a href=\"http:\/\/delishice.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Delish Ice<\/strong><\/a> <em>Pop-up popsicle shop<br \/>\n<\/em>175 William St (at the intersection of William St and Roe St)<br \/>\nFor your sake, I hope this shop is still around when you visit because it is damn bloody good!
