But in Sept 2017, only 15 new restaurants and bars are opened. However, the trend of Asian or Asian-inspired restaurants dominating continues. Here, only 2 out of 15 restaurants are non-Asian. It makes much sense to open Asian restaurants in Singapore because ingredients are fresher when imported from nearby countries than from the West. #AsianPride

New Restaurants in Singapore, Sept 2017

13 Stages
1 Stadium Place, Kallang Wave Mall #01-41 Singapore 397628
tel: +65 6384 0502
facebook

The casual restaurant, co-owned by celebrity Mark Lee, serves chicken rice with different toppings at $8.90, such as samsui chicken, dang gui chicken, mala chicken, etc.

Bee Bee’s
55A Boat Quay Singapore 049844
tel: +65 9172 6729
5pm-12am, closed Sun
facebook

22-year-old Bryan Kishore opens Bee Bee’s, a Tiki cocktail bar with elements of Peranakan fare.
