If you’re thinking of taking a vacation to the recently very popular Port Dickson, I say forget it! There is nothing there except golf course and expensive watersports. And the sea isn’t even beautiful! It’s gray. But if you’re in a new passionate relationship, then go. It’s like a sexcation, because it is so boring, all you do is stay in the hotel room to have sex.<\/p>\n

An amusing thing happened:\u00a0Singaporean SPGs rock<\/strong>! I was swimming at the seaside infinity pool when two bikini-clad SPGs approached a look-like-rich angmoh<\/em>. After 5 minutes of chatting, when the SPGs’ drinks arrived, the waiter asked, “Do I put this on the tab?” The SPG turned to the angmoh and asked sweetly\/sluttily, “Well, do we<\/em> put it on the tab?” OMG, chat for 5 minutes can get free drinks already! Some more, they are two an lians who can’t speak English properly. #win.<\/p>\n

We were staying at Thistle Hotel<\/strong>, which is a 5 minutes’ drive from the town area (I say town area but they have maybe 3 shops there). \u00a0So no point going to town. We walked out of the hotel to the highly recommended\u00a0Weng Yin Seafood Restaurant<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

While walking there, we turned a corner and bam! something miraculous happened. We saw a few horses grazing by the side of the road and their dung was a mini-mountain. And then a few scraggy dogs came running at us. The little 4-year-old boy said, “Don’t worry, they don’t bite.”<\/p>\n

Weng Yin Restaurant: Wow, very authentic kampong-style<\/strong>! Tin corrugated, outdoor sitting, no aircon, and millions of houseflies. You eat with one hand and use the other hand to swat flies. Malaysia, truly Asia! Lovin’ it.<\/p>\n

We two persons ordered steamed fish <\/strong>(23 ringgit), salted-egg-yolk sotong<\/strong> (12 ringgit) and stir-fried potato leaves<\/strong> (6 ringgit). The food was healthy because I don’t think there was MSG but the taste was compromised. Of course, healthy and hair loss (due to MSG) are more important, so I didn’t mind. But OMG OMG OMG! It came up only maybe S$9 for each person?!??! A steamed fish in Singapore already costs $20++. Very win!!!<\/p>\n

If you’re bored eating, you can play “Spot the Singaporean” because you can’t! The Malaysian-Chinese here speak and look exactly like Singaporeans. They even have ipads! WOW.<\/p>\n

And best of all, don’t say they kampong, the restaurant has a website and is on facebook! Awesome. Can go and eat.<\/p>\n
