This 3D2N Genting Highlands Itinerary<\/strong> is ideal for a quick long weekend holiday. Most activities revolve around Resorts World Genting<\/strong><\/a> (Genting Highlands, 69000 Bentong, Pahang, Malaysia; Tel:\u00a0+ 603 6101 1118).<\/p>\n

Day 1<\/u><\/p>\n

6.30 a.m.<\/strong>: Board the coach at Golden Mile Complex<\/strong>. Check your bus and seat number with the coach service counter.<\/p>\n

\"\"1 p.m.<\/strong>: Arrive at First World Hotel<\/strong> drop-off point. We trudged towards Theme Park Hotel<\/strong><\/a> for check-in and a quick freshen up before we head out for lunch.<\/p>\n

Fish & Chips<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

2.30 p.m<\/strong>.: There are many food options. We settled at The Laughing Fish by Harry Ramsden<\/strong> for some authentic British fish and chips. You can choose either cod or haddock, and gravy or curry as a dip. My recommendation is to stick with good old malt vinegar. Love the crispy batter and tender fish meat. The baked camembert is very flavourful because of the copious amount of garlic that is embedded into the cheese. However, the calamari are tough and bland, and the chips are a tad dry.<\/p>\n

\"\"4.30 p.m.<\/strong>: The long bus journey from Singapore to Genting Highlands can make one sluggish for the rest of the day. Head to SkyTropolis Funland<\/strong> to pump up your adrenaline. The four-level indoor entertainment space consists of Big Top<\/strong> for amusement rides, The Void<\/strong> for hyper-reality experience, and the Eagle Landing Zipline<\/strong> that allows you to fly across the park within a few minutes. (Note: Imaginatrix<\/strong>, a VR game centre will be opened in July.)<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The entertainment park is opened from 10am to 10pm daily and tickets for each amusement ride at the Big Top<\/strong> is RM10 from Monday to Friday and RM15 from Saturday to Sunday, and on public holiday and eve of public holiday. Alternatively, you can get a Preview Pass at RM60 for unlimited rides.<\/p>\n

\"\"I really enjoyed the hyper-reality immersive experience at The Void<\/strong>. Players are suited up with a vest, headset and Proton Blaster before entering The Void, which is really an empty space but you would not have known. In that realm, you play a character to complete a mission that involves a lot of shooting with the Proton Blaster. There are four storylines to choose from \u2013 Star WarsTM<\/sup>: Secrets of the Empire (RM130), Ralph Breaks VR (RM130), Nicodemus: Demon of Evanishment (RM90) and Ghostbusters (RM90). Tickets are not cheap but the experience is remarkable. I would do it over and over again. Guests must be at least 10 years old and at a minimum height of 4 ft or 122 cm.\"\"<\/p>\n

\"\"The Eagle Landing Zipline<\/strong> (1 pax \u2013 RM43; 2 pax \u2013 RM53; 4 pax \u2013 RM81) gives you the scenery of the mall\u2019s gigantic vibrant LED screens and people milling about below across 200 metres, four levels above ground. Personally, I would prefer to do a zipline outdoor for natural scenery but this is still a worthwhile activity for adrenaline junkies who are game for anything anywhere.<\/p>\n

\"\"7.30 p.m.<\/strong>: Dinner at High Line Roof Top Market<\/strong>, a bar-cum-restaurant that has a killer view of the cable cars and mountains\u2026 until the clouds took over. We had a meat platter, burger, lobster nasi lemak, a bucket of seafood and Nutella-and-marshmallow toasts.<\/p>\n

\"\"9 p.m.<\/strong>: The day felt long. We retired early for the weekend.<\/p>\n
