Famished at almost 9pm and\u00a0Hachi Tei was one of the few shops still open at CBD area. There is no decor<\/strong> to speak of, plastic tables and chairs.<\/p>\n

Salmon don<\/strong> $13. Decent, ok, average, not fantastic but not atrocious either.<\/p>\n

But the China waitress was very polite and nice<\/strong>. The policy is to accept card only for more than $20 but I didn’t have cash, and she persuaded her lady-boss to allow the transaction. Her simple act made me see how strangers can be kinder than lovers. That’s what eating teaches you – helps you see the world clearer.<\/p>\n
