Some people have championed it to be a National Dish.\u00a0<em>Yusheng<\/em> (raw fish) is a symbol of prosperity because (1)<em> yu <\/em>\u9c7c (fish) is a homonym of\u00a0<em>yu <\/em>\u4f59\u00a0(excess) and if you have excess, it means you&#8217;re rich and (2) <em>sheng<\/em>\u00a0\u751f(raw) is a homonym of <em>sheng<\/em>\u00a0\u5347(rise\/promotion). Ok, we made that up but it is most probably true.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hookerlily<\/strong>: Red House is quite generous with the salmon <em>hor<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wise Guy<\/strong>: Yeah, this is the large portion of <strong>Prosperity Salmon Yusheng<\/strong> ($76+) for 8-10 people. The small one costs $38. When I went to pick up the <em>yusheng<\/em>, they were preparing it on the spot. This <em>yusheng<\/em> is as fresh as it can be. Very awesome.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr NGFL<\/strong>: Add half the oil dressing <em>hor<\/em>? I am on a diet. [<a href=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=kbovd-e-hRg\" target=\"_blank\">Shit girls say<\/a>&#8230;]<\/p>\n<p><strong>Chiobu<\/strong>: I like the yusheng. It isn&#8217;t overly sweet like some other yusheng out there.<\/p>\n<p><strong>14K<\/strong>: The colors are popping. The view at the East Coast branch faces the sea, more relaxing, while the decor at Robertson Quay is more classy. There are 5 set dinner menus to choose if you&#8217;re dining at the restaurant:\u00a0 <strong><em>Fortune Celebration Set<\/em><\/strong> (S$238++ for 4 persons), <strong><em>Abundant Wealth Set<\/em><\/strong><em> <\/em>(S$368++ for 6 persons), <strong><em>Harmonious Family Set<\/em><\/strong> (S$498++ for 10 persons), <strong><em>Good Fortune Set<\/em><\/strong> (S$698++ for 10 persons) and <strong><em>Bountiful Treasures Set<\/em><\/strong> (S$888++ for 10 persons).
