sulbing-seoul-reviewNot sure if Sulbing is the best bingsu in Korea but it sure is the largest franchise chain with 490 outlets in Korea alone. (They have outlets in China.)

Bingsu has to be one of the largest food export to Singapore, with bingsu cafes popping up like mushrooms on our little island. When in Seoul, even in -4 degrees winter, I must still eat bingsu, right?

The bingsu here is almost half price of Singapore’s, at ₩9,000. I got the cheesecake flavor, and they gave me two spoons. I felt judged for eating it by myself.

The snow flake is coarse and lumpy, although the flavor is interesting. Salty parmesan cheese with sweetened milk. Very bold.

It’s not an essential must-eat as a tourist, but if you pass by, why not? Then when it comes to Singapore—because it will, sooner or later—you can boast to your friends, “I had it before in Seoul.”
