Froyos & super bowls: Australia’s #1 Coconut Yoghurt and Coconut Water Opens cocobella lifebar at One Holland Village

cocobella lifebar at One Holland Village is the first retail concept of the Australian #1 brand for coconut water and coconut yoghurt.

After a year of R&D, cocobella lifebar comes up with a diverse menu of superbowls, froyo (frozen coconut yoghurt), smoothies, coco cloud drinks, all made from a base of coconut. No dairy: suitable for lactose intolerant people, vegetarians, and vegans.

On the menu, they clearly list items that are rich in probiotics, omega, and antioxidants. Best of all, some items, like the choc power protein smoothie, have 25g of proteins. This is great for gym bros and health enthusiasts.

Smoothies

Choc Power Protein Smoothie

From the smoothies section, I tried the choc power protein smoothie (reg $9, L $12) which contains coconut water, banana, soy protein, Medjool dates, raw cashews, coconut cream, cocoa, and coconut sugar. I heard that it’s very popular with gymmers in the area. It makes sense because the thick viscosity made me quite full.

Super Bowls

Pretty in Pink

Pretty in Pink (reg $11/L $14) consists of strawberry froyo, strawberry, coconut granola, pomegranate, and shredded coconut. I relish anything with pomegranate in it. It’s not something my family often buys to eat at home, but that pop, pop, pop texture adds to the bowl.

Nut Butter Acai

If acai and froyo have a baby, it’s the nut butter acai (reg $11/L $14) with 10g of proteins! If you like acai (and I do), I think this is a must-order. It’s my favourite thing on the menu. Friends saw me bogarting the entire L bowl.

One thing that I like about the super bowls and froyos is that the fruits they use are fresh and crisp. At other places, fruits can be so limp.

Froyo

Taro Town

I am Hakka, so of course I had to get the taro town (S $7, Reg $9), or taro froyo. The taro is a light touch, so don’t expect something that comes across strongly. Next time, I’ll try the apple crumble froyo.

Coco Clouds (coffee, Small $7, Reg $9)

Coco clouds are basically a latte (a shot of coffee with milk), but instead of milk, they use coconut water. Then, they top it up with flavoured foam. You can also have it without the shot of coffee.

Orange Cloud

I had the Orange Cloud. If you are an Americano drinker (like me), then yes, I recommend the cloud. If not, just go for the ice latte (reg $7, L $9) of coconut water, coconut cream, and coconut foam.

Australian beach vibes

One last thing I enjoyed about my experience at cocobella lifebar is the interior: surfboard, blue-and-wall walls, beach furniture. It’s giving Australian coast chill vibe.

ps: cocobella lifebar is giving complimentary small froyo bowl for any item purchase until 14th Jun 2024 (T&C applies).
