Hamburg itself is nice but the magic lies in the brown butter sauce. I drank the sauce to the last drop.

Besides the hamburg with brown sauce, the French onion soup is also their signature. But I didn’t like this. It’s too artificially sweet and there isn’t enough Gruyère, resulting in a monotony.

The parfait is fantastic. The berries are fresh and crisp and the creme brûlée mixes well with chocolate, cream, and other flavours. 10/10 recommend. My only complaint is it’s so tiny for $18.90.

Started in the 1950s, Royal Host is a Japanese chain restaurant serving western food. It’s pretty expensive for a chain (a main and a dessert go up to $60) BUT the food is quality and the service is one of the best I’ve experienced in some time. Recommended.
