Having writing this entry 5 years after I have eaten at the place, I can’t say for sure my impressions are correct. But I was fascinated by the kampong style, never changing for the past 40 years. Very quaint. It is just beside SIM.
The food was so-so and oily and although everyone disses it on HGW, it remains famous and crowded.
Although the food was average, it would be quite an experience.
Famous dishes include kampung chicken and paper-wrapped chicken.
