There are two things you need to know about me:

1. I cannot detox. The last time I tried, I lasted for 1.5 days. It was basically a 5-day starvation diet with supplement pills including chlorophyll so the shit turned out green like a baby’s.

2. I come from a family of fire-eaters. My mother and sister eat chili like Asians eat rice. My tolerance-level is not as high as my mother’s or sister’s but good enough.

After eating the curry mutton, my stomach still burns – for the past two days. I shat so much I didn’t know I have so much shit in me. The mutton was really much too spicy but on the bright side of things, I detox! There was virtually no meat on the fish head but the rice was perfection.

It is strange that such a not-so-classy restaurant should be in Dempsey. The decor is all rattan tables and chairs, no air-con, only fans; the decor is very much like a coffeeshop. But the food sure is pricy at $20 per person.
