Gorgeous lighting in the restaurant gives you a nice photo. Lovely decor, prompt and good service. But the restaurant was smokey (because of the BBQ nature of the food), and so you would smell like BBQ when you leave. I’m a little ambivalent about the cost. $13.80++ for the Sukiyaki set – but as you see, sukiyaki doesn’t need a chef to cook. So it’s just throwing the ingredients in a pot. And $14 for 2 slices for beef… I dunno, am I a cheapskate?
Over all, I think everything is ok but somehow I don’t feel the heart in the food. I believe eating is not about eating alone but about the passion behind it. This chain of restaurants gives me the feel of a money-making enterprise. I doubt I will return.
