I’ve been coming here for years but strangely I haven’t written anything on it. The desserts are not as smooth or tasty as Mei Heong Yuan, and it doesn’t have a specialty like Ji De Chi. The Chinese desserts are average–better than Ah Chew Desserts in any case–but I value its quietness. You can always find a seat in this air-con place. And I also value that it closes late, at 10.30pm everyday.
They have a new dessert (pictured above), which is herbal jelly (their specialty) in mango milk with mango and honey. I like it very much, there are anti-oxidents, protein, vitamins and fats. How awesome! The bitterness of herbal jelly is balanced by the milkiness of condense milk, sweetness of honey, and slightly sourness of mango. Quite a good idea.
If I don’t want to squeeze with people at Mei Heong Yuan two streets away, this is where I will come.
