After eating at Nectar, the manager invited us up to take a look at the rooftop bar. And so the Thirsty Go Where series continues.
To circumvent the problem of tropical rain, there is a concrete roof over the bar but the setback is the bar won’t have an openness to it and since it’s not air-con, it was a little warm. I’d suggest either demolishing the concrete roof and use parasols OR air-con the place.
My friend had been wanting to come here, she walked here once to find it still under renovation. The house specialty cocktails have names with Colors. So I picked my favorite color and ordered the drink called “Gold.” It has champagne, gin, kahlua, monin mojito, soda and beer. I thought it tasted minty and my friend said it tasted like bubblegum; either way, mint or bubblegum feels more like “Blue” than “Gold” although the color of the drink is “gold.”
Overall, nice, quiet place. Good for gatherings too. If you’re nearby, drop by, drop in.
