Conrad Bangkok lobby
Conrad Bangkok is one of the best, if not the best, hotels we have been.
We arrived very early. Check-in timing is usually at 2pm or 3pm, but we were there at 8.30am. The receptionist upgraded up from our entry-level deluxe king to premium king so that we could receive our room at 10am.
(Also: I suspect the deluxe king rooms are under renovation as stated on their website although we did not hear any loud noises during our stay. It was peaceful, restful, and quiet.)
In the meanwhile, they gave us the hotel wifi so that we could surf in the lobby. Nice touch.

Room and the sexy bathroom: you can draw the curtains so you can watch tv in the room from the bathtub. Or if you want privacy, you can put the curtains down.
When we walked in to the room, we went WOW. It is huge, so huge that even with a gigantic bed, there is still space for a chaise longue.

Another view of the room
They have all sorts of standard amenities including hair dryer, iron, ironing board, safe, bath robes, bedroom slippers, etc.
The bathroom has glass wall with a curtain so if you like you can lie in the tub and watch tv.

Chaise Longue
One of the best things is the great view that overlooks Bangkok city.

View from the room

In case you miss the iconic rubic-cube building, King Power Mahanakhon.
Another thing I really love about the room is the bed. It’s one of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have been, almost as comfortable as my home bed.

TV
It’s importable to have electric sockets besides the bed these days and only newly renovated hotels will have them. Conrad has USBs on both sides of the bed, making it easy to charge your handphones.

Toilet (right side): they use Japanese toilet that has seat warmer and other functions.

Toilet (left side): the bathtub
Amenties

Gym
The gym is the BIGGEST hotel gym I have ever seen. It’s so big that even Thai locals sign up for it. (Yes, you can be a member of hotel gyms. Only that in Singapore, hotel gyms aren’t well equipped and are very expensive.)

Other side of gym

Studio

Swimming pool
The pool is amazing. The temperature is regulated so it is not too cold or too hot. They also state the p.h. and chlorine level of the water. BEST hotel pool ever.

Jacuzzi and Waterfall
Besides the pool, there is a very strong jacuzzi with a heavy waterfall. I know the waterfall doesn’t look like it is strong in the photo, but if you sit under it, the pressure is forceful.
Pros:
-central location
-provides shuttle bus service to the nearest MTR, Phloen Chit, which is two stops away from Siam station where Siam Paragon is.
-Great swimming pool
-Biggest and most well-equipped gym I have seen
-Fantastic service
-great, comfortable bed
Cons
-I honestly cannot thinking of any.
We paid about 5400baht (S$245) for a night. I highly recommend this hotel.
