I wanted to ask how they manage the price with such good quality. They even bake their sourdough themselves.
The butters are fantastic.
Chef Kian Hong has worked at Les Amis and other fine dining restaurants. And his experience showed in the food.
The food here is modern Japanese.
Their donabe is the best dish. Both wagyu donabe and kinki fish donabe (40 supplement) are fantastic but the fish is slightly better.
We were wondering why the decor is so classy. Found out that the restaurant’s parent is a furniture company. You can buy the furniture here.
The owner is also passionate about fashion. Here you can buy one-of-a-kind necklace for men by Japanese artisan Goro Takahashi. Takuya Kimura, Ed Sheeran, BTS have worn it.
It was a good meal. Good service, food, pricing, decor. My only gripe is the food came out too slowly. I can’t stay out too long, my bed misses me.
