I’m entering this door to a private Chinese tea room. If I get kidnapped, send this photo to the police. It’s #07-14 at Orchard Plaza.

😂😂😂

It’s private for you and your family or friends only.

2 pax for $138 for an hour, you get to taste two teas.

Additional pax +$68

Maximum 5 pax

You’ll notice the tea leaves are whole, not in pieces. They come from trees (yes trees, not shrubs) that are more than 300 years old. Organic. All processed by hand, no machines. Sun dried naturally, not in a tea dryer machine.

It’s bespoke. You inform them your preferred palate and they will pick the teas for you.

The cups change for different teas to bring out their best flavours. These are the last cups to be made with wood fire. China banned wood fire kilns because of environmental issues.

Tearoom is the most exclusive Chinese tearoom in Singapore. They take only 1 group (2-5 pax) per booking. It’s not cheap BUT from my traveling experience through tea-growing countries, I know that drinking tea requires 缘 fate. You must meet the right person, be in the right place, at the right time. The teas in this room travel from the far ends of China to reach here. It’s a kind of fate to be able to drink it. And also they are very smooth.
