Initial reviews of the New York cafe, Dean & Deluca, are overwhelmingly negative, but when we went, it was a rather pleasant experience.

Bacon egg cheese burger $20

The decor reminded us of Ikea. And there are some frozen products on display, such as frozen lasagne, and I guess they may have been imported frozen and thaw here?

American country breakfast $22

Strawberry shortcake $9

Although the food isn’t memorable, it is satisfying, not as bad as what initial reviews claim. Perhaps it has grown into its own rhythm. We like it. We spent $63 for two persons.
