How awesome is the photo. Seriously. I’m not being humble here, and it’s taken by iphone.

If you’re taking a bus to Malaysia at the nearby bus terminal (which is already like Malaysia), then you can cross the road and walk to Lavender Food Centre. Early in the morning at 7.30am, Hong Kong Dim Sum is one of the few stalls that are opened.

You know how you know the dim sum is good? The stall is HUGE. It took up two stalls for ordering and there is a 3rd stall just to make the dim sum. You order the dim sum, and the very amicable lady will steam your dim sum in front of you! Freshly steamed dim sum!!! How awesome is that?!?!?!

We had the usual har gaw (prawn dumpling) and siew mai (pork dumpling.) A basket has 4 each. They tasted very different from other dim sum places. Very fresh and original. The siew mai didn’t have a porky taste at all. Cheap and good. Thumbs up! If I died, this is what dim sum heaven looks like.
