Rose Veranda’s high tea buffet is pure class. The setting is luxurious. There isn’t a lot of food selection, just a row of table with sandwiches, pies, roast beef, and local delights like fried bee hoon and fried rice with some hot dishes, etc.

The food was comforting, and nothing to complain about, except for sushi (dry rice) and chicken wings (too much flour).

The high tea also comes with free-flow of tea, which you can choose from a humongous selection of very superior teas.

The service was first class, attentive, courteous and friendly.

My friend commented that this is the best high tea in Singapore. I cannot disagree for I had 50% discount, and we six only paid $23 each. But even when the buffet is priced at $46 (including taxes), I’d still be willing to pay. It was classy, luxurious, and unpretentious.
