This happened some time ago, but the badness still leaves an awful taste in my mouth. The decor was fun: there were fishes swimming in the hole in the middle of our table, but that’s the best thing I can say of the restaurant.
We ordered the set menu, which came up to over $360 for 6 adults. The steamed fish and fried prawns were stale and limp; the Peking duck was sawdust dry; no sharks died for the shark’s fin soup because we couldn’t find any fin; the dumplings were just lame; and the best dish was the brocolli.
Why is this restaurant still open?

Can’t agree more. Had one of my worst dinners out at Lao Beijing at ps and they offered us return vouchers when we were settling the bill. Return ? We laughed. And returned those return vouchers.
