Every Friday and Sat, Cafe 2000 at M Hotel holds a seafood and bbq buffet at $82++ for adults, which is rather expensive for a small buffet.
The selection isn’t wide. There is some cold seafood, some cooked food, some roasts, salad, some bbq selection,, and desserts. That’s about it.
The food is okay. There is nothing very outstanding, but nothing is sucky too.
I like buffets with Chinese-styled steamed fish because I like fish.
You pick the meat and they bbq the meat on the spot for you.
On the whole, the energy of the place is sluggish; maybe the decor needs a revamp, and the buffet needs a change in concept. It is also expensive, and I’d rather spend a bit more for a quality buffet like Edge.
That said, it was full house when we were there. Perhaps there was something special about the buffet that we weren’t seeing.
We pay for our own meals.
