Inspired by the dynamic street food scene of Taipei, FIVE-TEN is a fun, casual pop-up restaurant bar. Expect affordable small and large plates by Chef Shawn Koh (previously of Salted & Hung) that feature the quintessential flavours of Taiwanese cuisine with a Southeast Asian touch, priced at $5++ and $10++ respectively.

FIVE-TEN has an array innovative tipples like gaoliang slushies as well as a curated selection of beers, wines, and spirits – priced at $5++ and $10++ – to cater to the after-work drinking crowd and late night revelers.

Plaza Brasserie at Park Royal on Beach Road has rebranded to Ginger Asian Restaurant, helmed by  Chef Andy Oh, recently named the Best Head Chef in the Global category of the World Luxury Restaurant Awards, with 30 years of experience. The buffet features Chinese, Malay, Indian and Peranakan dishes such as beef cheek rendang, ayam masak merah,  tandoori lamb rack, Hainanese chicken rice, laksa and char kuay teow. They also serve Crustacean Hotpot, Salt-Baked Whole Seasonal Fish, and Chilli Crab.

Lunch: $34 (Monday to Friday – 12:00pm to 2:30pm)
Lunch: $58 (Saturday and Sunday – 12:00pm to 2:30pm)
Dinner: $58 (Monday to Sunday – 6:00pm to 10:00pm)
