Saw on tiktok that a Michelin guide staff always stops here first when she comes to Singapore. Michelin guide, fire her.

Beef tacos, 2pc $25

The food was okay-ish, a 7/10, but this place is really for expats. The only other time I was outnumbered by white people in Singapore was 3pm weekday Raffles Place gym. I think the pricing at such an ulu location also reflects their target audience.

Mutton tacos 2pc $25

This is the second week in a row I’m eating tacos. I didn’t talk about the first restaurant because i spat out the rotten food. I just want an honest toasted , not deep fried, tortilla, with traditional or interesting seasoning. Something simple, homely, in the style of traditional Mexican food carts. But Lavi didn’t scratch that itch either. Onwards to my search to satisfy my itch.

Gin tonic with dill and black pepper ($22)

One thing though I love the extrovert bartenders. They are really fun and sweet and chill. I’d love to be friends with them.
